Deoria Tal – The Lake of the Gods

The beauty of the lake is mesmerizing. The crystal clear water of the lake is so clean that the reflection of the surrounding Chaukhambha peaks can be clearly seen in the water along with the clouds. This place is uniquely blessed by nature because one gets to see water, forests and clouds and sow covered mountains all at the same place. In the early morning you can watch the sun’s rays falling on the snow covered peaks near the Lake. Camping near the lake is another unforgettable experience and must be done to enjoy the sunsets and sunrise at the lake and also the beautiful star lit nights by the lake side. Around the lake, you can spot thousands of vibrant and colorful birds like Monal, Snow partridges, Gryphons, Woodpeckers etc. If you are lucky you can also spot the Musk deer for which the Kedarnath Valley is famous for.
