The trek to Chopta, that can be extended to climbing the Chandrashila Peak, is a popular adventure trip among hiking lovers. Since the route lies in a protected area, the journey takes one through enchanting forests with panoramic views of the Himalayas, far from the maddening crowds. Deoriatal to Chopta (4-5 hours trek) Chopta to Chandrashila Peak (4,000 m), via Tungnath Temple and back (4-5 hours trek). The distance from Tungnath Temple to Chandrashila peak is only 1 km and serves as a highlight of the trip.

Our collection of books is also available to the children of Chopta, who could not otherwise afford these books. Kedarnath wild life sanctuary and chopta are home to a huge number of bird species.This national sanctuary is located in the state of Uttarakhand in India. The main purpose of this sanctuary is to protect the endangered Himalayan Musk Deer and hence the alternate mane was given to it. It spreads over an area of 975 sq km and is the largest protected area in the western Himalayas. It is home to a large number of wildlife species including 110 tree species, 50 mammal species and 580 bird species.
A herd of Cow wandered back from the fields, after which the women poured water in brightly colored sarees, the water balancing on their heads.
